Saturday the 14th saw all senior ARFC teams in action at home.
ARFC Women pushed a tough Burnaby squad to their limit and at half time only 1 point separated the sides. Burnaby scored some late tries to pull away. The division 3 men started off their year and their return to the league with a nice win over a tough Ridge Meadows squad with a 34-24 win. New players are always welcome to try 3rds. September 21st the 3rds travel to Kamloops.
The division 2 men put on a nice display of attacking rugby and put away United 41-12. Great to see the team success with so many new and young faces out on the field. Division 2 travels to Kamloops to play the 2018-19 finalists from Div.2 in what will be a stiff test for the young team.

Division 1 men put a on a display for the fans watching as they took United to task and ran away with a 64-21 victory. Abbotsford played with 14 men for a large majority of the game after receiving a red card. It has been a treat to watch this team as they play a positive brand of rugby combining their with backs and forwards to find and attack space. Division 1 men have a week off before they play again at Port Alberni.
