After a tough Day 2 for the local girls high school teams, Bateman and Yale were able to come away with AA and AAA bronze medals at the provincial tournament . Abby Sr. finished 4th in AA and Mouat 8th in AAA. Congratulations to all the players and coaches who put in a tremendous amount of work this year! Looking forward to seeing the grade 12 girls advance to the division 1 championship ARFC women’s program.
In junior boys provincial rugby the Abby Senior JV boys fell to a tough Rockridge team. Congratulations to them for an outstanding season.
Next up is the senior boys provincial rugby championship hosted at Abbotsford’s rotary stadium. Tournament gets going Wednesday and features Abby Senior, Bateman, and Yale. Best of luck to all teams. Schedule posted below.
