The Abbotsford Women's Rugby team is a very interesting, dynamic group. We range in age from teens to thirty-somethings. Included are students (both high school and university), career oriented women, and dedicated Moms. The experience level of new players has ranged from ex- Canada team members to people who have never played before. We have teammates who come out as much for the social side of the sport as for the game itself, and players who are striving to better their game and reach higher levels within the sport. Our girls have gone off to play for the Fraser Valley Rep team and to represent our Club and our province on B.C. teams. This diverse group of ladies knows how to have fun, showing our “true colours” at practice and clubhouse socials. In spite of the fun we know when it’s time to be serious and put on our game faces. We love competition, our team mates, the game of rugby and of course, new faces. Everyone is welcome at ARFC!
