Three Abby teams advance to BC Final!

Three of Abbotsford's senior teams have advanced to the BC Final on the May 15/16 weekend. The men's Div 1 team defeated Seattle 43-12 in a hard fought battle to advance to the BC Final. The Div 2 squad beat Surrey 27-7 in the semi-final to also advance. The Abby women's Div 1 team toppled Kamloops 29-12 to earn a berth to the BC Final.

The final games are at Klahanie Park in North Vancouver, men on Saturday, May 15 and women on Sunday, May 16.
Div 1 - 3pm vs Langley at Klahanie Park (Sat, May 15)
Div 2 - 1pm vs Kamloops at Klahanie Park (Sat, May 15)
Women Div 1 - 11:30am vs SFU at Klahanie Park (Sun, May 16)

Bateman Dominates Abbotsford City 7's

The 6th Annual Abbotsford City 7's Tournament took place at Yale on Friday, April 30, 2010. Over 500 athletes on thirty local sevens teams from grade 8 to 12 took the field to compete in this fast paced game of seven-a-side rugby. The tournament is organized by Doug Primrose and the Abbotsford Rugby Club.
