2012 - 2013 Season

Thank you to all of our 2013 Applicants - we have filled all of our Head Coaching positions and the Youth teams are ready to go this week.   There are always opportunities to help out with our programs so if you are still interested in getting involved please contact our Youth Co ordinator at  This email address is being protected from spambots. The Abbotsord Rugby Club is gearing up to start it's youth programs in the coming weeks. Registration will be open soon. We are currently seeking coaches for our youth programs and look forward to working with a strong and dedicated coaching staff.

We look forward to a fun and successful youth season. Programs are determined by capacity, which we will know through registration numbers. We hope to run  U-16, U-18 and U-20 men, as well as U-18 girls programs this fall.

There are no exceptions to this process

Please include the following in your application letter:

  • Full name and contact details
  • Current coaching credentials
  • Coaching history
  • Team you are applying to coach and why
  • Availability
  • Coaching philosophy

A current Criminal Record check is mandatory. The Club will provide a Volunteer letter to attach to your application.

We are currently reviewing which teams will run during the Fall 2013 Season. It should be noted that your ability to work within a coaching cohort will be important.

Each team will ideally have one Head Coach, one Assistant Coach and one Manager

Prior to the season starting all members of the Coaching and Management team will be required to review the ARFC’s code of conduct at the ARFC Coaching Meeting (TBA)
