2011 - 2012 Season

Two of our local Abbotsford U-19 players have made the Canada U-19 Tour to England in Feb/March. Paul Ahn (Yale Grad, currently at UBC, featured left) and Jorden Best (Bateman, currently grade 12) have both been selected for this prestigious honor.

There is an online fundraiser for the players selected to try to offset the $2500 cost of the trip. Any bit that we can help them will go a long way to making their tour more affordable. They have both had numerous expenses to attend camps to get to this point and the costs add up.

A great new initiative by Rugby Canada has made it easy to donate. Simply visit the links below to see their personal page and hit the 'DONATE NOW' button. Enter credit card information on their secure site. We are proud of these young men who will be representing our club on the junior national team and want to show them our support.

Two of our other U-19 players were involved in the selection process. Connor Hunter was selected as a non-travelling reserve and Ryan March was selected to attend the camp, but declined due to work commitments.

Please help support our local athletes!
