2010 - 2011 Season

arfc logoThe 2010 youth season has come to a close with awards banquets concluding in December. Abbotsford fielded many strong teams this year, including two U-19 men's teams, a U-18 women's team, U-17 men, and U-15 boys. All of our teams were competitive, managing to make the playoffs in all divisions. The U-19 Tier 2 team was the only one to win a BC Championship, defeating the Meralomas in the BC Final 5-0 in a highly competitive match. Read on for award winners and final season results

Congratulations to all Abbotsford Youth teams on very successful seasons.  Here is a summary of award winners for all youth age groups.  It was very difficult for coaches to decide on these awards due to the high caliber of play by many individuals. All players had an important role in their team’s success this year. Thanks to all players and coaches for their dedication to excellence.

U-19 Boys – Tier 1 (3rd in BC – lost to Rowers by 3 who won final by 50)
U-19 Boys - Tier 2 (1st in BC)
U-17 Boys – 6th in BC
U-15 Boys – 3/4th in BC
U-18 Girls – 3rd in BC (lost 12-5 to Bayside in mainland final)
