2009 - 2010 Season

The BC High School rugby championships finished up Saturday, June 5 in Abbotsford. 32 senior boys teams from across the province took to the rugby stage at Exhibition Park on June 2,3 and 5, 2010 to battle for top spot in the AA and AAA divisions. It is the first time the tournament has been held in Abbotsford and coaches and organizers alike seemed very pleased with the local setting. The fields were in pristine condition and the logistics of the event rolled smoothly. Organizers have already booked the site for next year's tournament, which brought thousands of visitors to the local community over the 3 days.

Local Abbotsford, Mission, and Aldergrove teams did not fare as well as coaches had hoped, but Abbotsford did have 4 teams in the AAA competition, a significant amount for a relatively small community.
